  • Intel 45nm Overclocking: How to reach a high OC - Overclocking always is a matter of eliminating the bottleneck that holds back the best overclock. In many cases, it's either the motherboard or the memory, especially when you're working on a Wolfdale overclock. Basically, it's all about the strength of the northbridge: the more it's tuned for high performance, the less good it'll do in overclocking.
  • NVIDIA's PhysX: Performance and Status Report - As it stands, Unreal Tournament III is the only game that supports PhysX with the help of NVIDIA's latest GPU and PhysX driver. As for upcoming titles, the names are far from plentiful, but now that PhysX is fully supported on the GPU, adoption is sure to look more appealing to developers all over. Backbreaker is one title in particular I've seen from AGEIA in the past, which is simply put, a PhysX-enabled football game. From what I remember, the physics were really amped up here, and colliding players looked incredibly realistic.

The company just won’t be the same without him. Maybe he’ll pull a Michael Dell and come back out of retirement in a few years. Anyone taking bets?
