- Hinterland Announced - Tilted Mill Entertainment announced  Hinterland,   a game that combines RPG and strategic base-building gameplay. The game will   be available later this summer for under twenty dollars, through digital   download.
 - Two Worlds: Epic Edition Announced -  SouthPeak Games today   announced its open-world role-playing hit game will get a new release on PC   with the upcoming Two   Worlds: Epic Edition. Two Worlds: Epic Edition will contain the original   game and the add-ons 'Tainted Blood' and 'Curse of Souls', putting the   massive world of Antaloor and countless hours of adventuring into one   tremendous package. The original Two Worlds gave players a huge world and   hundreds of adventures to undertake. The expanded content of Epic Edition   adds over 70 online quests, eight new multiplayer maps, an innovative   player-versus-player challenge where opponents battle to control magical   orbs within a variety of arenas, and introduces the town of Tharnburg where   players can train their warriors in various skills and challenge other   players to combat in the Gladiator District's huge arena. The expanded game   will be available in August 2008. 
 - No Far Cry 2 Demo -    Ubisoft's Clint Hocking confirmed that we should not expect a demo   version of Far Cry 2, as this is another of those open-world style games the   won't readily scale to a sample version: "One reason is, even if we were to   give out what you played today - even if we put invisible walls around it   and said, here's the demo, you can go anywhere you like inside these walls   and play it how you want - that's potentially right there eight-to-ten hours   of gameplay. I don't know too many people who are willing to give away a   12-hour game for free." 
 - Major Features Cut From Warhammer Online -     Four cities and four classes have been cut from the game. Only Chaos and   Empire capitals remain and Dark Elf Blackguard, Orc Choppa, Empire Knight of   the Blazing Sun and Dwarf Hammerer have been cut.
 - New Wolfenstein Details - This month's    Game Informer contains first details about id/Raven's upcoming next-gen   Wolfenstein game, running on id Tech 5 engine and set to release on PC, Xbox   360 and PS3. The only real surprise is that B.J. is getting supernatural   powers of his own this time around. The blurb also describes the environment   as "one large city, which will open itself up as you progress through given   missions and quests" both that there will be "randomly generated content"   occasionally blocking your way. 
 - Sony Fixing PS3's Broken By 2.40 Update For Free - According to    PS3Fanboy, Sony will repair any console bricked by the update free of   charge, although there are supposed to be not that many affected.
 - Fable 2 Details -  OXM UK   has some4 new details on the Fable sequel for Xbox360: "there are now   four traits to consider when going good or evil with your character --   purity, corruption, kindness, and cruelty. No HUD will be included in the   game, and there are no cutscenes either! Non-interactive scenes take up less   than five in-game minutes. Oh boy!  - Cheap Classic PC Games - Black Isle Studios' post-apocalyptic   RPGs Fallout and Fallout 2 will be among the many long-lost PC titles soon   re-released by Good Old Games, a new online venture from CD Projekt.   Located at GOG.com and   slated to launch in September, the online store will sell DRM-free digital   downloads of old-school PC games at $5.99 or $9.99 a pop. A closed public   beta will go live on August 1, with the site currently accepting beta   applications. The site will initially carry titles from publishers Interplay   and Codemasters, including the previously-mentioned Fallout series, MDK 1   and 2, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Freespace 1 and 2, Sacrifice, Descent 1-3 and   Kingpin: Life of Crime. While a full list of the store's launch offerings   has yet to be finalized, other games slated to appear by September include   Shattered Steel, Jagged Alliance 2, Redneck Rampage, Operation: Flashpoint,   Colin McRae, and TOCA Race Driver 3.  - Konami Sues Harmonix Over Patents Possibly Illegally Used in Rock   Band -     Konami has sued Harmonix for patent infringment via Rock Band in Texas   Federal Court. Viacom/MTV/Harmonix have not commented yet as they have not   received the court papers as of yet.
