id Software shows Rage on the id Tech 5 engine

Its been a while since id Software has started a new title in their array of shooters. Today at E3, they showed some footage of RAGE, which is to premier on the id Tech 5 engine. In case you didn't know, id Software basically laid birth to game engines as we know them today. So, its no run of the mill when id Software announces a new engine along with a new franchise, something not very frequent. Watching the trailer, I get somewhat of a Doom feel, but what can you expect. They love their monsters. At least its not almost pitch black.
