  - Star Wars: The Old Republic Shots - BioWare has released  eight new   screenshots from their highly anticipated  MMO Star Wars: The Old   Republic
 - Space War Commander Demo - A new singleplayer  demo for Dreamspike   Studios upcoming RTS, Space   War Commander is available. Word on the game is: "Set in a universe that   no longer needs humans, Space War Commander challenges you to defeat the   destroyers of mankind with creative strategy. Now you can conquer galaxies   with the power of your mind. In fact, if you want to survive, you'll have   to."
 - Volvir Demo -     Volvir (trailer)   is an addictive puzzle game based on an original idea. Try to be as fast and   as smart as you can through many levels, each with its own secrets and   power-ups. Collect all the secret keys in order to unlock the secret level   and try to discover new strategies for each level. You can send your best   scores to the server in order to appear in the Global Scores List. 
 - BattleForge Beta - FilePlanet is hosting    a beta for BattleForge, an upcoming strategy title from the creators of   SpellForce. Currently the beta is only open to FilePlanet subscribers,   although residents of the United States, Canada, and Mexico can gain access   to the beta by pre-ordering the game through Direct2Drive.
 - Saints Row 2 PC System Requirements - Getting us back in the   swing of things tonight, Volition Community Manager    "V-Singular" has revealed some official system requirements for the   upcoming PC edition of their Open-World Action title, Saints Row 2.
 - Kingdom Under Fire II website updated - Still due for release   sometime in 2009,   Kingdom Under Fire II is promoting itself as a mix of RTS and MMO   genres. While the game will still have an offline single player mode it will   also have a multiplayer mode "...where thousands of gamers can join in a   server to pit their skills against each other." 
 - NCsoft Sued over MMOG Tech - Virtual world company    Worlds.com filed suit against City Of Heroes publisher NCsoft on   Christmas Eve, claiming infringement on its MMO technology patent. The main   patent referenced in the suit is a "System and Method for Enabling Users to   Interact in a Virtual Space." They say this patent is violated by City of   Heroes, City of Villains, Dungeon Runners, Exteel, Guild Wars, Lineage,   Lineage II, and Tablula Rasa, many of which predate the February 20, 2007   date of the patent, though it was filed in 2000.
 - Duke, StarCraft II and Hero's Journey make Wired's Vaporware list -       3D Realms' Duke Nukem Forever once again takes the top spot as it has   for nearly the entire existence of the Vaporware list. Also on the list is   StarCraft II, which Blizzard first officially announced in mid 2007. Oddly   enough the list also adds an MMO game called Hero's Journey, a little known   game from Simultronics that been in development for almost 10 years.
