Latest news about the MoH dedi-server

This is from www.FPSAdmin.com

Over at the official forums, It looks like Blackhat posted some information regarding how the server patch will be released. Please note: This is how they are trying to release the patch. It's still not a sure thing and we may simply have to wait for the patch before we know.
Just talking to our engineers, and they're going to put together a zip file that basically has the files needed to run the ded server on a box. You can directly download the files to your servers, and unpack there, and you should be good to go. Inside the pack there will be the pertinent game files, along with the necessary patch files already applied, and the dedicated server ready to go.

Assuming all goes as planned, that's how it'll work. The alternative is still that you can install the game locally, apply the patch, install the ded server, then ftp the files all up to your server.
So now we know that it might be a simply (could be large but that is still good) archive folder of files touched by the patch.
Note this is something I made then aware of over a year ago, via a con call with Blackhat and Tom H of EA. Also note that there was a very long list of features I asked for on behalf of our members and GSPs who run these games for a living.

EA has still not answered my questions regarding:
- Install process for the remote server
- What exactly did Demiurge and Papaya do on the title
- Why was I was excluded from the field testing all the other PC summit members are currently doing - I think I know but I would not want to assume anything
- When will we see a Linux version for servers, as described by Whiskey and his exclusive second hand look.
- When will HTTP redirect be released (for downloading new maps and mods)
- Will there ever be an SDK or a way to open the MOH:A files so modders can work their magic and add things that EA should have done in the first place.
- clarification on EA account(s) running on dedicated server box
Let's hope we see the patch next week, we now have Crysis MP beta, TF2 MP beta and a whole lot of other games being released with MP in mind "OUT OF THE BOX".
