A new developer video for Operation Flashpoint:2 Dragon Rising has been posted.

There is some talk of the advantages of the game engine to give us the gamer a richer experience. It looks damn fine, but have they lost out to the original developers of Operation flashpoint, Bohemian Interactive with their soon to be released ArmA II?

I see some very nice graphics with OF:2 but ArmA has the player base. The graphics on ArmA II look pretty slick too.

Also ArmA II has moved the game play along, has CoadMasters missed the boat? They have after all had to reinvent the wheel here. While BI had been developing and selling it's product for years to army's around the world. Making the world most successful military simulator to notable clients like the USMC and the British Army.

We love that type of thing, to play a game so highly thought of by the real world military that we try so hard to emulate. Codemasters are just making a "game" Bohemian Interactive with their ArmA and ArmA II have been meeting the needs of the worlds military, and we get to play along...
