AMD's bulldozer Sequel coming Q3 2012

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is set to launch the next generation AM3+ chip in Q3 2012. It's currently codenamed Vishera and will use an improved Bulldozer core known as Piledriver.
It's got stiff competition though, as it'll be going up against Intel's Ivy Bridge, which will use the new 22nm manufacturing process. This will bring with it the usual performance gains of a new generation as well as the improvements of a die shrink, including lower power requirements and cooler operation.
