WINE UPDATE BREAKS AUDIO PLAYBACK FOR WINDOWS APPS IN UBUNTU
The latest update to Wine has broken audio support for Windows apps in Ubuntu.
Wine 1.3.25, released last Friday, saw a rewrite of audio support based on that in Windows 7. The major issue resulting from this is the breakage of audio support for PulseAudio – Ubuntu’s default sound server.
