Intel 80 core CPU should come in five to seven years!

The chaps over at Fudzilla have managed to get some additional details and pictures of Intel 80 core CPU. Word is: "We had a chance to see and picture the wafer and you can clearly see that this CPU is going to be huge, but since its now developed in 65nm, there will be a lot of chance to some serious shrinkage. If you take into account that the 80-core CPU should come in five to seven years, this would probably be the time of 10nm or even smaller transistors, as 32nm is due in late 2009 or early 2010 and two years after is the time for 22nm, so in 2012. As you can see, the CPU is quite huge; but we also learned that at this stage this CPU cannot run Windows. However, it shows some basic functionalities and a smart CPU management where it can turn off cores it doesn't need and save some power and battery life.
